How osteopathy can help you heal
Examination and check-up
A number of tests are performed to verify the need to refer the patient to another medical professional or general practitioner for more in-depth diagnostic analysis or appropriate treatment.
Preliminary tests
This phase consists of osteopathic tests to identify any lack of mobility in the different areas of the body that will be subjected to treatment.
Manual techniques
Once the contra-indications have been ruled out and the most appropriate treatment has been selected (according to the patient’s age and general characteristics), the osteopath uses exclusively manual techniques to try to ease the reduced mobility.
